Igarashi Motors India reported FY26 revenue of Rs 86,591.89 lakhs, up 3.3% from Rs 83,842.11 lakhs in FY25. However, profit after tax fell sharply to Rs 1,214.66 lakhs from Rs 2,416.83 lakhs in the prior year—a decline of about 50%. Q4 FY26 profit was Rs 159.49 lakhs, down from Rs 350.39 lakhs in Q3. The company recorded a negative other comprehensive income of Rs 319.96 lakhs for the year due to hedging losses on cash flow instruments. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 1.30 per share. Statutory auditors BS R & Co. LLP issued an unmodified (clean) opinion. The company also appointed Sharp & Tannan as Internal Auditor and B Y & Associates as Cost Auditor for FY27.
Despite modest revenue growth, the company saw a significant decline in profitability due to higher material costs and increased finance costs. The clean audit opinion and positive operating cash flow of Rs 9,379.91 lakhs provide some comfort, but the sharp PAT decline may concern investors.
