Videocon Industries filed its much-delayed un-audited financial results for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2024, signed by the Resolution Professional Mr. Abhijit Guhathakurta. The company reported revenue from operations of ₹1,576.97 million for Q3 and ₹4,855.51 million for 9M FY25, but posted massive losses of ₹(24,898.56) million for Q3 and ₹(71,401.31) million for 9M, driven primarily by enormous finance costs of ₹24,024 million and ₹68,870 million respectively. Other equity stands deeply negative at ₹(344,497) million, confirming total erosion of shareholder value. The newly appointed statutory auditor G A M P & Co. issued a 'Disclaimer of Conclusion' due to inability to verify numerous items, citing missing pre-CIRP records, non-cooperation from promoters, and ongoing investigations by SFIO and Enforcement Directorate. Trading in the stock remains suspended on BSE and NSE since June 16, 2021, and the matter is pending before the Supreme Court.
For shareholders, the situation remains extremely distressed with deeply negative net worth, mounting losses, and no resolution plan yet implemented despite CIRP being ongoing since June 2018. The stock is already suspended from trading, so there is no immediate price impact, but the eventual CIRP outcome will determine whether shareholders recover any value at all.
