The board approved audited standalone results for FY25 with revenue from operations of Rs. 788.81 cr (up ~6.4% from Rs. 741.16 cr in FY24) and profit after tax of Rs. 83.67 cr (up ~13.2% from Rs. 73.92 cr). EPS rose to Rs. 67.05 from Rs. 59.23. An exceptional item of Rs. 2.67 cr was booked for goodwill impairment arising from the amalgamation of wholly owned subsidiary CAPL Motor Parts Pvt Ltd, effective April 1, 2023, approved by NCLT on December 20, 2024. Standalone FY25 results were restated to reflect this scheme. A final dividend of Rs. 20/share has been recommended, taking total FY25 dividend to Rs. 30/share (300%) including Rs. 10 interim already paid. The 71st AGM is scheduled for July 25, 2025 via video conferencing, with book closure from July 19 to July 25, 2025. Statutory auditor Brahmayya & Co issued an unmodified (clean) opinion.
Steady earnings growth and a strong 300% total dividend payout signal healthy cash generation and reward to shareholders, though the goodwill impairment of Rs. 2.67 cr is a one-time non-cash drag on reported profits. The amalgamation-related restatement and clean audit opinion should support investor confidence.
