India Finsec Ltd reported standalone FY2026 PAT of Rs 3.76 Lakhs (vs Rs 0.11 Lakhs YoY), a sharp turnaround driven by lower expenses, though standalone revenue declined 87% to Rs 3.50 Lakhs as the holding company became an unregistered Core Investment Company (CIC). On consolidated basis, PAT grew 19.5% to Rs 2,166.58 Lakhs with revenue up 19% to Rs 8,460.85 Lakhs, led by subsidiary IFL Finance Ltd (formerly NBFC). Auditors issued unmodified opinions. Board also appointed M/s Himanshu Sunil & Associates as internal auditor from FY27 and Ms. Prachi Bansal as Company Secretary. Total consolidated debt nearly doubled to Rs 38,821 Lakhs while capital adequacy dropped significantly.
The standalone results show a shrinking holding company post-NBFC exit, but consolidated results reflect strong subsidiary performance. Rising leverage and declining capital adequacy ratios warrant monitoring. The appointment of new auditors signals potential strategy changes.
