India Finsec Ltd has filed a revised disclosure under SEBI SAST Regulation 31 regarding the release (un-pledging) of promoter group shares that were earlier pledged with Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd for intra-day margin purposes. Shares belonging to Mr. Gopal Bansal (40,15,741 shares, 13.76%), Mr. Manoj Sharma (7,60,665 shares, 2.61%), Mrs. Sunita Bansal (10,11,012 shares, 3.46%), Gopal Bansal LLP (45,37,050 shares, 15.54%), and Daisy Distributors Pvt Ltd (1,72,998 shares, 0.59%) were un-pledged on 26th-27th March 2026. A second lot of 15,65,002 Gopal Bansal shares (5.36%) was also released. After these releases, total remaining encumbrance stands at 12,95,530 shares (4.44% of share capital). The disclosure was signed by Gopal Bansal as Karta of the promoter HUF and submitted to BSE on 28th March 2026.
The un-pledging of promoter shares is a positive signal for shareholders, as it reduces the risk of forced selling and reflects improved financial standing of the promoter group. Promoter encumbrance has come down substantially, which may be viewed favorably by the market.
