India Glycols has clarified the dividend for FY 2024-25 after its recent stock split. The Board had originally recommended a 100% dividend (Rs. 10 per share) on equity shares with a Rs. 10 face value. Following the 1:2 stock sub-division approved in July 2025, each Rs. 10 share was split into two Rs. 5 shares. The revised dividend is now 100% on the new face value, equating to Rs. 5 per equity share of Rs. 5 each. The total payout remains effectively the same for existing shareholders, who now hold twice as many shares. The dividend is subject to shareholder approval at the 41st AGM scheduled for 30th September 2025.
No real change in absolute payout for shareholders - the total dividend value is unchanged, just distributed across double the number of shares post-split. This announcement provides clarity on the dividend post-split, removing any confusion for investors.
