IMFA reported standalone revenue of Rs 2,826.31 crore for FY2026, up 10.2% from Rs 2,564.57 crore in FY2025. Profit after tax grew 12.2% to Rs 424.36 crore from Rs 378.09 crore. EPS improved to Rs 78.65 per share from Rs 70.08. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 7.50 per share (75% on face value Rs 10). Key highlight: the company completed acquisition of Tata Steel's Ferro Chrome Plant at Kalinganagar for Rs 610 crore on 27 February 2026. Statutory auditors Walker Chandiok & Co LLP issued an unmodified opinion with no qualifications. The company also appointed a new Independent Director and approved the Risk Management Policy.
Strong bottom-line growth with 12% PAT increase is positive for shareholders. However, borrowings nearly doubled (non-current from Rs 0.02 crore to Rs 293.41 crore) to fund the acquisition, increasing financial leverage. Operating cash flow declined by 40% to Rs 348.80 crore, which investors should monitor.
