Indian Oil reported strong Q3 FY26 standalone results. Revenue from operations rose 7 percent YoY to Rs 2,31,769 cr. Net profit jumped to Rs 12,125.86 cr from Rs 2,873.53 cr a year ago, driven by a sharp improvement in average gross refining margin to 8.41 dollars per barrel from 3.69 dollars. Nine-month FY26 net profit surged to Rs 25,424.91 cr versus Rs 5,696.72 cr. The government approved LPG under-recovery compensation of Rs 14,486 cr, of which Rs 2,414 cr was booked in Nov-Dec 2025. EPS for the quarter stood at Rs 8.81.
Strong quarter for IOC. Higher GRM and government LPG support boosted earnings sharply, signalling better refining profitability and improved cash flow outlook.
