Indian Oil's unaudited September 2026 quarter standalone revenue rose 29.5% year on year to Rs 2,62,935.58 crore. Net profit jumped 184.2% to Rs 21,630.03 crore. In the first half, revenue rose 27.8% and profit 42.7%, including Rs 7,243.02 crore of government LPG compensation recognised as revenue. The subsidy buffer stayed negative at Rs 2,32,505.69 crore. The Audit Committee remains inactive due to unavailable independent directors.
Profit growth supports sentiment, but lower operating cash flow, the LPG subsidy gap and inactive committees remain shareholder risks.
