IRCTC posted Q1 FY27 standalone revenue of Rs 1,369.5 cr, up 18% from Rs 1,159.7 cr YoY, driven mainly by catering segment which grew 34%. PAT was nearly flat at Rs 329.9 cr versus Rs 330.5 cr. EPS stood at Rs 4.12. Railneer and internet ticketing stayed steady. Auditor flagged emphasis of matter on pending catering tariff license fee dispute, Railneer DCO input tax credit claims, and a Rs 50.4 cr NAA profiteering notice under GST.
Strong catering growth is positive, but flat profits, margin pressure, and ongoing litigation on tariffs and tax are risks to watch.
