Indian Toners & Developers Ltd reported a decline in both revenue and profit for FY25. Full-year revenue from operations fell to Rs 15,298.82 lakhs from Rs 15,674.94 lakhs in FY24, a drop of about 2.4%. Net profit for the year dropped to Rs 2,244.28 lakhs from Rs 2,614.02 lakhs, down roughly 14%, with EPS at Rs 21.13 versus Rs 24.09 last year. For Q4 FY25, revenue was Rs 4,069.96 lakhs and net profit Rs 669.23 lakhs, compared to Rs 4,279.14 lakhs and Rs 861.89 lakhs in Q4 FY24. The company completed a buyback of 4,58,268 shares at Rs 450 per share (total Rs 2,062.21 lakhs) in September 2024, reducing paid-up share capital to Rs 1,039.17 lakhs. Operating cash flow remained healthy at Rs 2,607.42 lakhs, and statutory auditor B.K. Shroff & Co. issued an unmodified opinion on the results.
Despite stable cash generation and a sizeable buyback signalling confidence, the YoY decline in revenue and a sharper fall in net profit may weigh on investor sentiment. Shareholders should note the lower EPS and the reduced share count following the buyback.
