Indigo Paints announced its Q1 FY26 results on August 7, 2025. Consolidated revenue from operations stood at Rs. 308.9 crore, a mild decline of 0.7% versus Rs. 311.0 crore in Q1 FY25. Consolidated net profit fell 2.2% to Rs. 26.1 crore from Rs. 26.7 crore, while EBITDA declined 6.5% to Rs. 44.3 crore. EBITDA margin compressed to 14.3% from about 15.6% a year ago, attributed to muted industry demand, early monsoons, and inadequate scale leading to higher fixed costs. On a standalone basis, revenue was nearly flat at Rs. 294.9 crore (up 0.3%) with PAT of Rs. 26.4 crore, almost unchanged. The statutory auditor Price Waterhouse Chartered Accountants LLP issued an unmodified (clean) limited review report on both consolidated and standalone results.
Soft quarterly print with revenue contraction and notable EBITDA margin compression may weigh on the stock near-term, though the flat-to-positive standalone revenue and clean auditor opinion provide some comfort. Investors should watch for signs of demand recovery in subsequent quarters.
