IndiGrid Infrastructure Trust (NSE: INDIGRID), an InvIT operating power transmission, solar, and battery storage assets, filed its audited consolidated financial results for FY25. Total income rose to Rs. 34,377 million from Rs. 29,875 million, about 15% higher. Profit for the year jumped to Rs. 4,105 million from Rs. 2,965 million, a roughly 39% increase, while total comprehensive income came in at Rs. 3,915 million. Net cash from operations was healthy at Rs. 29,016 million. Auditor SR BC & Co LLP issued a clean (unqualified) opinion, but flagged an emphasis of matter on the classification of Unit Capital as Equity under InvIT regulations instead of Ind AS 32. Distributions paid to unitholders totaled Rs. 11,980 million, up from Rs. 10,208 million last year. NAV per unit at fair value rose to Rs. 144.11 from Rs. 133.15.
Sharp profit growth and higher distributions are positive for unitholders and should support sentiment. The emphasis of matter is a technical regulatory disclosure, not a financial red flag.
