Indo National Limited reported a significant loss for FY2026, swinging from a profit of Rs. 101.39 Lakhs (standalone) last year to a loss of Rs. 1,039.71 Lakhs. Consolidated loss was even larger at Rs. 2,669.20 Lakhs versus profit of Rs. 12,194.61 Lakhs in the previous year. Revenue declined marginally by about 1.5% to Rs. 45,101 Lakhs (standalone). The company faced increased costs, with employee benefits and finance costs rising. A new labour code liability of Rs. 86 Lakhs was recognized. The Board recommended a dividend of Rs. 3.75 per share (75%). Statutory auditors G Balu & Associates issued an unmodified (clean) opinion. During the year, the company acquired 54.79% stake in Medcuore Medical Solutions and invested Rs. 850 Lakhs in Axial Aero via CCPS. The NCLT approved amalgamation of Helios Strategic Systems (wholly-owned subsidiary) effective April 2, 2026.
The company swung from profit to substantial loss, which is a major red flag for investors. Despite the loss, the Board recommended a dividend showing confidence, but shareholders should monitor the company's turnaround plan given the significant decline in profitability and the pending Rs. 4,226 Lakhs CCI penalty case.
