Q2 FY27 total income rose 10% year on year to Rs 1,344 crore. EBITDA rose 46.4% to Rs 117.7 crore, with margin improving to 8.8% from 6.6%. Profit after tax jumped 201.8% to Rs 74.1 crore. Management plans about Rs 200 crore for specialty fibre capacity at Nagpur and expects about 20% higher EBITDA.
Sharper profit growth and better margins support sentiment. The Nagpur expansion may lift earnings from FY28, but execution and demand remain risks.
