Indo Rama Synthetics reported strong FY26 consolidated results with total income rising 14.94% to ₹4,929 crore from ₹4,288 crore in FY25. EBITDA surged 77% to ₹368.25 crore with margin expanding to 7.47% from 4.85%, driven by aggressive cost cutting and improved market conditions. Profit after tax jumped dramatically to ₹150.21 crore from just ₹1.40 crore in the prior year, aided by higher operating efficiency. Q4 standalone PAT was ₹64.13 crore versus ₹51.07 crore in Q4 FY25. The company recorded an exceptional item of ₹2.70 crore for incremental impact of new labour codes. Despite improved profitability, the board decided against declaring dividend for FY25-26. S S Kothari Mehta & Co. LLP issued unmodified audit opinions on both standalone and consolidated results.
The company showed exceptional turnaround with PAT jumping over 100x year-on-year and EBITDA margins expanding significantly, indicating successful cost optimization. However, no dividend declaration may disappoint income-focused investors despite the strong bottom-line recovery.
