INDO SMC Ltd reported strong audited standalone financial results for FY2025-26 ending March 31, 2026. Revenue from operations surged to Rs. 30,973.93 lakhs from Rs. 13,869.25 lakhs in the prior year, a growth of over 123% YoY. Profit after tax grew to Rs. 3,238.30 lakhs from Rs. 1,683.26 lakhs, up about 92% YoY. EPS improved to Rs. 18.09 per share from Rs. 10.48. However, operating cash flow turned significantly negative at Rs. 3,476.60 lakhs (vs negative Rs. 1,089.58 lakhs prior year), driven mainly by a sharp inventory buildup of Rs. 6,784.69 lakhs. The company also appointed M/s. Sunil Mulchandani & Associates as secretarial auditor for 5 years subject to shareholder approval. IPO proceeds of Rs. 9,194.79 lakhs remain partially unutilized (Rs. 4,953.75 lakhs in fixed deposits).
Strong top-line and bottom-line growth, but negative operating cash flow raises concerns about working capital management despite healthy profitability. The unqualified audit opinion provides comfort on financial reporting quality.
