Indokem Ltd's Board approved the audited standalone and consolidated financial results for FY2026 ended March 31, 2026. Standalone profit after tax nearly doubled to Rs 213 lakhs from Rs 92 lakhs in FY2025, driven by improved operational efficiency. However, consolidated PAT declined to Rs 185 lakhs from Rs 314 lakhs due to losses in subsidiary operations (Indokem Bangladesh reported a loss of Rs 20.85 lakhs). Revenue remained largely flat with standalone income at Rs 15,128 lakhs and consolidated at Rs 17,245 lakhs. The Board also re-appointed two key directors and adopted a revised Nomination and Remuneration Policy. Statutory auditors CNK & Associates LLP issued clean (unmodified) audit opinions on both standalone and consolidated results.
The significant jump in standalone PAT is positive for shareholders, though the decline in consolidated profits and negative operating cash flows (standalone: Rs 368 lakhs outflow; consolidated: Rs 418 lakhs outflow) are concerns. The company's debt has also increased substantially (non-current borrowings doubled from Rs 1,192 lakhs to Rs 2,472 lakhs), which could raise leverage concerns. The clean audit opinion provides some comfort.
