Indokem Ltd reported a strong turnaround for FY25 on a standalone basis, with revenue rising to Rs. 15,365 lakhs from Rs. 13,951 lakhs in FY24. Profit before tax swung from a loss of Rs. 522 lakhs to a profit of Rs. 90 lakhs, while PAT moved from a loss of Rs. 526 lakhs to a profit of Rs. 91 lakhs (EPS of Rs. 0.33 vs Rs. -1.89). Q4 standalone revenue grew about 44% YoY to Rs. 4,815 lakhs, with a Q4 profit of Rs. 331 lakhs against a Rs. 157 lakh loss last year. On a consolidated basis, FY25 revenue rose to Rs. 17,809 lakhs and PAT to Rs. 314 lakhs (from a Rs. 623 lakh loss). Operating cash flow improved sharply to Rs. 1,297 lakhs. The statutory auditor (CNK & Associates LLP) issued an unmodified opinion.
A clear swing from losses to profitability, improved operating cash generation, and an unmodified audit opinion are positive signals for shareholders. Stock may react favourably, though the absolute profit size remains small and management change (new CFO) is a near-term watchpoint.
