Promoter Madanlal Garg gifts 4.18 lakh shares to family via off-market transfer

Mr. Madanlal Garg, a promoter of Indong Tea Company, transferred 4,18,488 equity shares (about 2.15 percent of paid-up capital) on 13 July 2026 via off-market inter se transfer by way of gift to immediate relatives within the promoter group. The disclosure was filed under SEBI takeover regulations. Importantly, the aggregate shareholding of the promoter category remains unchanged before and after the transfer. This is essentially a family-level reshuffle rather than a change in overall promoter ownership or any open-market selling.
