Promoter Waaree Energies Limited, which holds 92.60% of Indosolar Limited, will sell 12,50,000 equity shares (3% of paid-up capital) through an Offer for Sale (OFS) on BSE and NSE to comply with the minimum public shareholding (MPS) rule. The floor price has been fixed at ₹500 per share, with no retail discount. Non-retail investors can bid on August 7, 2025, and retail investors on August 8, 2025, with 10% of the offer reserved for retail. Antique Stock Broking is the seller's broker. After the OFS, the promoter will still hold 3,72,73,505 shares (about 89.6%), which remain under lock-in, while the rest of the locked shares have been released only for the purpose of this sale.
This is a regulatory-driven OFS to lift public shareholding to the required 25% level rather than a promoter exit on sentiment. The supply of 3% additional float, even at a fixed floor price of ₹500, may create short-term supply pressure on the stock, but it also improves liquidity and trading volume for existing retail shareholders.
