Info Edge reported standalone revenue of Rs 736.4 crore in Q1 FY26, up about 15% from Rs 638.9 crore in the same quarter last year, driven by 9% growth in recruitment billings and 17.6% growth in the non-recruitment portfolio (99acres, Jeevansathi, Shiksha). Standalone operating profit stood at Rs 250.2 crore with a 34% margin, and the company generated Rs 179.6 crore in cash from operations. Consolidated net profit attributable to equity holders jumped to Rs 295.9 crore (EPS of Rs 4.57) from Rs 232.9 crore a year ago, helped by a strong Rs 4,828 crore cash balance. Management flagged that recruitment was hit by geopolitical and sectoral headwinds, while non-recruitment businesses cut cash losses. The board also recommended a final dividend of Rs 3.60 per share, and a merger scheme involving four wholly owned subsidiaries is currently before the NCLT.
Steady revenue and margin performance with strong cash generation supports investor confidence, though the recruitment slowdown is a near-term watchpoint. The robust cash balance and dividend announcement are positives for shareholders.
