On the reaction day the stock moved 0.3 pts more than Nifty Midcap 150 and 0.4 pts more than its Internet & Catalogue Retail peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Info Edge won its NCLAT appeal against an NCLT order that had directed it to convene meetings of 1,93,534 equity shareholders along with secured and unsecured creditors to approve the merger of four wholly-owned subsidiaries (Allcheckdeals, Axilly Labs, Diphda Internet, Zwayam Digital) into the company. NCLAT set aside that part of the order and dispensed with the meeting requirement, since no new shares are being issued and no stakeholder rights are affected.
Removes a lengthy procedural hurdle, speeding up the consolidation of four wholly owned subsidiaries into Info Edge. Mildly positive for shareholders.
