Informed Technologies India reported weak Q1 FY26 results with revenue from operations falling sharply to Rs. 35.73 lakhs from Rs. 59.56 lakhs in the same quarter last year, a drop of about 40%. Total income also nearly halved to Rs. 105.33 lakhs (vs Rs. 223.12 lakhs YoY), pulled down by both lower core revenue and reduced other income. Standalone profit after tax crashed to Rs. 5.29 lakhs from Rs. 97.10 lakhs a year ago, with EPS dropping to Rs. 0.13 from Rs. 2.33. On a consolidated basis, the picture was slightly better thanks to a Rs. 21.14 lakh share of profit from an associate, taking consolidated PAT to Rs. 26.43 lakhs (vs Rs. 108.16 lakhs YoY) and EPS to Rs. 0.63. The auditor (Parekh Sharma & Associates) issued an unmodified limited review report with no qualifications.
The steep YoY decline in both revenue and profit signals continued weakness in the core IT-BPO business, which is likely to be viewed negatively by shareholders. Despite healthy reserves (Rs. 1,592 lakhs standalone) supporting the balance sheet, the shrinking operating margin is a concern and may pressure the stock in the short term.
