Insecticides India reported Q1 FY27 revenue of Rs 612 crore, down 12% YoY from Rs 691 crore, due to rainfall deficit across India. EBITDA fell 20% to Rs 68 crore with margin compressing to 11.1% from 12.2%. PAT declined 24% to Rs 44 crore. However, gross margins expanded 240 bps to 31.6% YoY on pricing discipline. New products Granuvia and Spinoace launched with Corteva.
Weak quarter on revenue and profits due to poor rainfall, though margin discipline is a positive. Watch demand recovery in coming quarters.
