On the reaction day the stock moved 3.6 pts more than Nifty 100 and 4.7 pts more than its Transport Services peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

IndiGo reported a September-quarter net loss of INR19 billion as high fuel costs offset a 24% rise in total income to INR243 billion. Passenger revenue per available seat-kilometre rose 31%, while free cash was INR399 billion. Management kept FY27 capacity growth in the early single digits, reiterated mid-teens growth for FY28 and retained its FY30 capacity target of 300 billion available seat-kilometres.
High fuel costs and the loss weigh on near-term sentiment, but strong liquidity, higher fares and confirmed growth targets support long-term confidence.
