Sunshine Capital Ltd informed BSE that Intellectual Builders Pvt. Ltd. (a non-promoter entity) has sold 1,98,00,348 equity shares (3.78% of the company's share capital) through open market transactions across four trading days: August 19, 22, 25 and 26, 2025. Prior to this disposal, Intellectual Builders held 5,68,56,000 shares (10.87%), and after the sale its stake has come down to 3,70,55,652 shares (7.08%). The disclosure was filed under Regulation 29(2) of SEBI's SAST Regulations, 2011. Sunshine Capital's total equity share capital remains 52,29,17,200 shares of Re. 1 each.
This is a reduction in stake by a significant non-promoter shareholder, which could create short-term selling pressure on the stock. The selling entity still retains a 7.08% stake, so it remains a substantial shareholder but is no longer above the 10% disclosure threshold.
