IGI reported strong Q1 FY26 results with standalone revenue rising ~18.8% YoY to Rs 2,341.30 million (vs Rs 1,971.34 million in Q1 FY25) and standalone profit after tax surging ~44.5% to Rs 1,374.40 million (vs Rs 951.21 million). Consolidated Q1 revenue grew ~15.8% YoY to Rs 3,009.12 million, with consolidated PAT jumping ~63.5% to Rs 1,265.32 million. For H1 FY26, standalone PAT was Rs 2,766.23 million (up ~24.8% YoY) and consolidated PAT was Rs 2,672.54 million (up ~31.1% YoY). Standalone basic EPS for the quarter stood at Rs 3.18 vs Rs 2.42 last year. The auditor (MSKA & Associates) issued an unmodified limited review opinion, and the company also incorporated a new wholly-owned subsidiary in Dubai. This is IGI's first Q1 filing as a listed entity (shares listed Dec 20, 2024).
Sharp profit growth driven by margin expansion and a benign tax base suggests strong operating leverage, which is positive for shareholders. The clean auditor report and absence of debt concerns support a stable near-term outlook, though the YoY comparisons benefit from a softer prior-year base since this is the first reported Q1 post-listing.
