Ion Exchange (India) Limited filed its Q1 FY26 results. Standalone revenue from operations was Rs 51,783 lacs, almost flat versus Rs 51,609 lacs in Q1 FY25. Standalone profit after tax came in at Rs 4,688 lacs, up about 2.3% from Rs 4,583 lacs last year, with EPS of Rs 3.814. On a consolidated basis, revenue rose to Rs 58,319 lacs (about 2.8% YoY) and PAT grew roughly 8% to Rs 4,844 lacs, giving an EPS of Rs 4.108. The Consumer Products segment posted strong revenue growth (Rs 9,022 lacs vs Rs 6,602 lacs) but continued to report a segment loss of Rs 93 lacs. The auditor (Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP) included an Emphasis of Matter in the consolidated review report on the ongoing SEBI matter at subsidiary Ion Exchange Enviro Farms Limited (IEEFL), where SEBI has directed a Rs 22.02 crore deposit; the next hearing is scheduled for October 14, 2025.
Headline numbers are muted with single-digit growth and a small rise in margins, which is unlikely to be a positive catalyst. The IEEFL/SEBI legal overhang is the key risk to track, though the company states it does not expect any liability on its books.
