Ipca Laboratories reported strong Q1 FY26 results. Standalone revenue from operations grew about 12% year-on-year to Rs 1,746.90 crore, while consolidated revenue rose 11% to Rs 2,308.85 crore. Standalone net profit jumped 28% to Rs 262.04 crore (EPS of Rs 10.33 vs Rs 8.05), and consolidated net profit grew 18% to Rs 234.42 crore. Standalone EBITDA margin expanded to 23.82% from 22.25% a year ago, aided by 18% growth in export income to Rs 699.76 crore and 10% growth in domestic formulations to Rs 961.01 crore. The quarter had no exceptional items, though the prior year had included Rs 281.54 crore in impairment charges against a US subsidiary and an associate. The auditor issued an unmodified limited review report.
Positive quarter with double-digit revenue growth, healthy margin expansion on a standalone basis, and over 25% jump in standalone profit, likely to support investor sentiment. The newly acquired Unichem Ireland subsidiary has no impact on the current quarter numbers.
