IRB Infrastructure Developers reported consolidated revenue of Rs. 76,482 million for FY2026, essentially flat compared to Rs. 76,135 million in the previous year. Net profit after tax declined to Rs. 8,504 million from Rs. 64,807 million in FY2025, primarily because the prior year included a one-time exceptional gain of Rs. 58,041 million from fair value measurement of InvIT investments. The Board declared a 4th interim dividend of Rs. 0.05 per share (5% on face value of Re. 1). Additionally, the Board gave in-principle approval for material related party arrangements with IRB Infrastructure Trust's 12 project SPVs for O&M works and project management, with an estimated value of up to Rs. 19,502 crore. Earlier in the year, the company issued bonus shares in a 1:1 ratio, doubling the share count.
The stock may see mixed reaction - flat revenue and lower PAT are concerns, but the dividend and large related party contract pipeline provide some support. The bonus issue increases liquidity but dilutes per-share metrics.
