IRB InvIT Fund reported FY2026 results with total income of Rs. 15,817 million, up 37% from Rs. 11,102 million in FY2025, driven by higher toll revenues. However, profit after tax declined 5% to Rs. 3,386 million from Rs. 3,556 million, mainly due to increased amortization (Rs. 3,798 million vs Rs. 2,541 million) and finance costs (Rs. 4,641 million vs Rs. 2,708 million). The Board declared 4th distribution of Rs. 1.60 per unit (Rs. 1.44 interest, Rs. 0.12 return of capital, Rs. 0.04 dividend), payable by May 27, 2026. NAV as on March 31, 2026 stands at Rs. 81.26 per unit. The auditor issued an unmodified opinion with an emphasis of matter on presentation of Unit Capital as Equity per InvIT Regulations.
Revenue growth of 37% is positive, but the PAT decline and increased finance costs due to higher debt levels post acquisitions could concern investors. The distribution yield remains attractive at approximately 2% based on current prices. The enlarged unit capital base (701 million new units issued) has diluted earnings per unit significantly from Rs. 6.13 to Rs. 3.78.
