On the reaction day the stock moved 1.0 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 1.2 pts more than its Specialty Chemicals peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Ishan Dyes and Chemicals' board approved its un-audited standalone financial results for Q3 FY26 (quarter ended December 31, 2025) and the nine-month period ended December 31, 2025. Revenue from operations for Q3 FY26 stood at Rs 1,868.65 lakhs, down from Rs 2,118.56 lakhs in Q3 FY25, a decline of about 12%. For the nine-month period, revenue fell sharply to Rs 4,171.60 lakhs from Rs 8,473.85 lakhs in the same period last year, a drop of roughly 51%. The company swung from a profit of Rs 224.70 lakhs in 9M FY25 to a net loss of Rs 857.34 lakhs in 9M FY26, with a Q3 FY26 net loss of Rs 525.24 lakhs. Statutory auditors M/s A R Sulakhe & Co issued an unmodified limited review report. The board also approved the re-appointment of Mr. Piyushbhai Natvarlal Patel as Managing Director for a further 5 years (June 2026 to May 2031), subject to shareholder approval.
Sharp revenue decline and a swing to significant losses signal serious operational stress, which is likely negative for the stock and may concern shareholders. The re-appointment of the founding promoter-MD provides leadership continuity but does not address the underlying business deterioration.
