Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
ITC posted Q1 FY27 standalone revenue from operations of Rs 26,943 cr, up 28% YoY, but PAT fell 27% to Rs 3,579 cr as excise duty on cigarettes jumped over 7x to Rs 10,036 cr after GST Compensation Cess expiry. Consolidated PAT dropped 16% to Rs 4,509 cr. Cigarettes segment EBIT fell 35%. Consolidated results include a Rs 406 cr exceptional gain from Sproutlife Foods remeasurement. Auditor issued an unmodified review report.
Headline revenue growth is largely accounting-driven from excise inclusion. Real profits fell sharply on higher cigarette taxes. Watch pricing response and FMCG margin trajectory.
