J&K Bank FY26 standalone PAT rose to Rs 2,363 crore from Rs 2,082 crore in FY25, a growth of about 13.5%. Net income from operations increased to Rs 14,065 crore from Rs 13,666 crore. Total assets grew to Rs 1,89,194 crore. Gross NPA ratio improved to 2.50% from 3.37%, and net NPA fell to 0.64% from 0.79%. Capital adequacy ratio stood at 16.55%. Auditors gave an unmodified opinion but flagged an emphasis of matter covering a Rs 228.65 crore impairment provision in associate J&K Grameen Bank, transfer of Rs 23.94 crore to Statutory Reserve, and recognition of deferred tax assets.
Better asset quality and higher profits are positives. Emphasis of matter on Rs 228.65 crore associate impairment is a watchpoint for shareholders.
