On the reaction day the stock moved 2.4 pts less than its Private Sector Bank peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Q2 FY27 net profit was Rs 546 crore, up 29% from Q1, and operating profit rose 27% year on year to Rs 789 crore. Gross bad loans were 2.23% and net bad loans 0.51%. FY27 guidance: credit growth above 14%, deposits above 12%, low-cost deposits above 42%, return on assets near 1.20%. The bank expects net interest margin to improve from Q3, plans to raise Rs 1,000 crore equity and Rs 500 crore debt, but gave no margin or credit loss estimate.
Positive for shareholders: profit and asset quality improved, but the equity raise may dilute holdings and expected credit loss is not quantified.
