On the reaction day the stock moved 13.0 pts less than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 13.8 pts less than its Private Sector Bank peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

J&K Bank reported September-quarter net profit of Rs 546 crore, nearly 29% higher quarter on quarter, as total business reached Rs 3.10 lakh crore. Deposits rose 16.3% and advances 23.7% year on year. Gross and net bad-loan ratios improved to 2.23% and 0.51%. Management raised FY27 deposit growth guidance to over 12% and plans to raise capital.
Strong profit and lower bad loans may support sentiment, while planned equity raising could aid growth but dilute existing holders.
