Jagran Prakashan Limited submitted its Q3 FY26 results. Standalone revenue from operations was Rs. 413.77 crore, down about 1% from Rs. 418.16 crore in Q3 FY25. Standalone profit after tax (PAT) fell roughly 12% YoY to Rs. 52.43 crore from Rs. 59.68 crore. For the nine months ended December 2025, standalone PAT grew around 18.5% to Rs. 178.99 crore on revenue of Rs. 1,230 crore (up 4.3% YoY). Consolidated nine-month PAT attributable to owners rose about 22% YoY to Rs. 178.87 crore. Auditor Price Waterhouse issued an unmodified review report but included an emphasis of matter note about ongoing NCLT petitions between members of the promoter family. The company also recognized a one-time past service cost of Rs. 5.77 crore (standalone) and Rs. 6.89 crore (consolidated) in employee benefits due to the new Labour Codes effective November 21, 2025.
The quarter was weak but nine-month profit trends remain healthy. The unresolved promoter family dispute at NCLT and the continued absence of a Managing Director since September 2023 remain the key governance overhangs that shareholders should watch.
