Jagran Prakashan Q1 FY27 standalone revenue rose 11% YoY to Rs 442.27 crore, but PAT fell 27% to Rs 51.91 crore, hurt by Rs 5.05 crore impairment in subsidiary. Consolidated revenue grew 8.5% to Rs 499.35 crore, PAT down 8% at Rs 61.23 crore. EPS was Rs 2.46 standalone and Rs 2.70 consolidated. Company paid Rs 10 per share interim dividend. Auditor flagged promoter group litigation as emphasis of matter, noting ongoing NCLT and Supreme Court cases.
Profitability hit by impairment charges, while ongoing promoter dispute remains a key overhang. Interim dividend of Rs 10 per share is supportive.
