Jai Balaji Industries reported FY25 revenue from operations of ₹6,350.80 crore, slightly down from ₹6,413.78 crore in FY24, while net profit fell sharply to ₹557.88 crore from ₹879.56 crore (down ~37%). Q4 was weaker, with revenue at ₹1,580.53 crore versus ₹1,845.60 crore a year ago and net profit of ₹75.48 crore versus ₹272.98 crore. Other income also dropped sharply to ₹67.66 crore from ₹215 crore. Operating cash flow remained positive at ₹311.28 crore though lower than ₹838.72 crore last year. The board also approved entry into OPVC pipes/tubes/fittings, appointed a new internal auditor, and proposed a new independent director via postal ballot. Equity shares were subdivided from ₹10 to ₹2 face value during the year (record date 17 Jan 2025), and all warrants were converted into equity shares.
Profitability took a meaningful hit in FY25 despite steady topline, reflecting higher expenses and lower other income, which may weigh on near-term sentiment. The diversified move into OPVC products and clean audit opinion are positives, but shareholders should note the sharp earnings contraction.
