Jain Irrigation Systems reported standalone FY26 revenue of ₹3,533.29 crore (up 8.4% from ₹3,259.02 crore), while consolidated revenue grew to ₹6,399.52 crore (up 10.7% from ₹5,779.14 crore). However, profitability declined sharply — standalone PAT fell 78.9% to ₹136.22 crore from ₹319.16 crore, and consolidated PAT dropped 66.4% to ₹353.54 crore from ₹1,051.28 crore. Q4 standalone revenue was ₹1,003.15 crore with a net loss of ₹15.90 crore. The company received ₹149.67 crore from warrant conversion and acquired 72.5% stake in Harlequin Manufacturing Ltd for ₹82.13 crore. New labour codes resulted in ₹20.72 crore exceptional charge, while goodwill de-recognition of ₹14.91 crore and plant shutdown costs of ₹15.45 crore were also recorded as exceptional items. The auditors issued an unmodified and unqualified opinion.
Despite revenue growth, the sharp decline in profitability — PAT down nearly 79% standalone and 66% consolidated — signals margin compression and operational challenges. Investors should watch for ongoing impact from geopolitical raw material cost pressures and exceptional items affecting earnings quality.
