Jain Irrigation Systems reported its FY25 audited results on May 14, 2025, showing declines in both revenue and profit. Standalone revenue fell about 14.7% YoY to Rs 3,25,902 lacs, while standalone PAT dropped roughly 55% to Rs 2,472 lacs from Rs 5,554 lacs in FY24. Consolidated revenue declined about 6% to Rs 5,77,934 lacs and consolidated PAT fell to Rs 2,569 lacs from Rs 4,280 lacs. The Plastic Division was the weakest performer, while the Agro Processing Division posted growth. Q4 standalone PAT improved about 12.5% YoY to Rs 2,829 lacs. The company allotted 4.36 lakh equity shares under its ESOP scheme and remeasured deferred tax on land due to a Finance Act 2024 change, reducing other equity by Rs 10,715 lacs.
Sharp declines in both top-line and bottom-line signal ongoing business headwinds, particularly in the Plastic segment. While the clean (unqualified) audit report and positive operating cash flow are positives, the weak earnings trajectory may weigh on investor sentiment and put pressure on the stock in the near term.
