Jain Irrigation Systems reported standalone net profit of Rs 145.78 crore for FY26 vs Rs 138.22 crore in FY25, aided by a deferred tax credit of Rs 124.23 crore. Consolidated revenue grew 10.7% to Rs 6,399.52 crore from Rs 5,779.14 crore, with consolidated PAT at Rs 136.22 crore vs Rs 118.22 crore (15.2% growth). Standalone Q4 revenue was Rs 1,003.15 crore with PAT of Rs 12.66 crore. The auditors issued unmodified and unqualified opinions on both standalone and consolidated results. Exceptional items include Rs 23.97 crore for gratuity impact from new labour codes, Rs 14.91 crore for goodwill de-recognition from subsidiary liquidation, and Rs 15.45 crore for plant disruption costs. Finance costs increased to Rs 83.51 crore from Rs 72.15 crore. The company also acquired 72.5% stake in Harlequin Manufacturing Ltd for Rs 82.13 crore during the year.
Net profit shows marginal improvement on standalone basis due to deferred tax credit, while consolidated revenue grew 10.7%. However, underlying operating performance appears weak with higher finance costs and multiple exceptional items impacting results.
