Jainex Aamcol Ltd reported strong profit growth for Q2 and H1 FY26, even as revenue softened. Net profit for H1 FY26 nearly doubled to Rs. 79.40 lakhs versus Rs. 40.57 lakhs in H1 FY25, while Q2 PAT jumped to Rs. 34.52 lakhs from Rs. 7.50 lakhs a year ago. Total income for H1 stood at Rs. 1,128.98 lakhs (roughly flat vs Rs. 1,126.01 lakhs last year), though Q2 revenue dipped about 13% YoY to Rs. 569.65 lakhs. Operating margins expanded sharply to ~15% in Q2 FY26 from about 6% in Q2 FY25, reflecting better cost control. Basic EPS for H1 rose to Rs. 5.31 from Rs. 2.71. The Board also approved a Rights Issue of up to 7.48 lakh equity shares at Rs. 120 each (1:2 ratio), aiming to raise up to Rs. 8.98 crores, with the issue open from December 1–9, 2025. Statutory auditor RK Jagetiya & Co issued an unqualified limited review report.
Strong profit growth and margin expansion are positive signals for shareholders, but the Q2 revenue dip and a Rs. 9 crore rights issue at a premium (which will dilute existing holdings by about 33% on full subscription) are key considerations. The capital raise should strengthen the balance sheet — total assets grew to Rs. 3,591 lakhs from Rs. 2,268 lakhs — though debt-equity has risen to 1.78x and the current ratio has weakened below 1x.
