ICRA has upgraded Jamna Auto Industries' credit ratings. The Long-Term Fund-based Term Loan (Rs. 90 crore) was upgraded from [ICRA]AA- (Positive) to [ICRA]AA (Stable). The working capital facilities (Rs. 460 crore) were also upgraded from [ICRA]AA- (Positive) to [ICRA]AA (Stable) for the long-term component, while the short-term rating was reaffirmed at [ICRA]A1+. Commercial Paper of Rs. 100 crore was also reaffirmed at [ICRA]A1+. The total rated facilities amount to Rs. 550 crore. The outlook was revised to Stable from Positive.
This upgrade signals improving creditworthiness and financial stability. The company now carries a double-A rating, which could lower borrowing costs and boost investor confidence.
