Jamna Auto Industries Ltd reported strong FY2026 results with standalone revenue from operations growing 14.8% to Rs. 2,538.5 crore from Rs. 2,211.9 crore in FY2025. Profit after tax increased 18% to Rs. 249.2 crore from Rs. 211.1 crore. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 1.50 per share, taking the total annual dividend to Rs. 2.50 per share including Rs. 1.00 interim dividend already paid. An exceptional charge of Rs. 1,113.5 lakh was recorded due to new labour codes notified in November 2025. The statutory auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the financial results. The company also changed its factoring arrangement accounting, moving related costs of Rs. 923.7 lakh to finance costs.
The company delivered solid double-digit growth in both revenue and profit with margin expansion, which is positive for shareholders. The clean audit opinion and shareholder-friendly dividend policy are encouraging signs. The exceptional labour code charge is a one-time item and shouldn't affect the underlying business trajectory.
