Jasch Industries reported Q1 FY26 revenue from operations of Rs 4,188.51 lakh, almost flat compared to Rs 4,182.48 lakh in Q1 FY25 but down about 16% sequentially from Q4 FY25's Rs 4,979.07 lakh. Profit before tax rose to Rs 295.04 lakh from Rs 253.26 lakh, a 16.5% jump, while profit after tax climbed to Rs 220.78 lakh from Rs 189.52 lakh, also up 16.5% year-on-year. Basic EPS improved to Rs 3.25 from Rs 2.79. The PVC leather segment saw revenue dip marginally but profitability jump sharply, while the PU segment delivered both higher revenue and profits, indicating operating margin expansion. The statutory auditor issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter. Prior year figures are shown as restated, and a small exceptional item of Rs 0.96 lakh was recorded.
Margins expanded despite flat top-line, suggesting better cost control and a more profitable product mix, which is a mild positive for shareholders. However, the sequential revenue decline and modest single-digit growth may limit near-term excitement on the stock.
