Jay Bharat Maruti's Board, at its May 22, 2025 meeting, recommended a final dividend of Rs. 0.70 per equity share (35% on face value of Rs. 2) for FY25, subject to shareholder approval. The company also announced audited FY25 results with standalone revenue of Rs. 2,290.12 crore and standalone profit after tax of Rs. 31.80 crore, a slight increase over Rs. 31.36 crore in FY24. Consolidated PAT for FY25 stood at Rs. 32.91 crore with EPS of Rs. 3.04. Capital work-in-progress nearly doubled to Rs. 308.10 crore, and long-term borrowings rose sharply to Rs. 269.15 crore, indicating significant capacity expansion underway. The Board also approved a 15-year lease deed with Maruti Suzuki for a new sheet metal parts manufacturing facility in Kharkhoda, Haryana.
The Rs. 0.70 dividend represents a modest payout on a small face value, and the stock's dividend yield is low relative to market price. Strong capex and rising debt signal a growth phase, but improved Q4 profitability and deeper integration with Maruti Suzuki through the new manufacturing lease are positive for long-term business outlook.
