Jayant Infratech Limited, listed on the BSE SME platform, reported its H1 FY26 (April-September 2025) standalone results. Revenue from operations stood at Rs. 5,462.49 lakhs, marginally down from Rs. 5,514.77 lakhs in H1 FY25. Profit before exceptional items and tax rose sharply to Rs. 594.78 lakhs from Rs. 389.79 lakhs, reflecting better expense control. Profit after tax jumped to roughly Rs. 454 lakhs from about Rs. 187 lakhs in the year-ago period, a significant rise of over 140%. The statutory auditor (Jay Gupta & Associates) issued an unqualified limited review report. However, the company's cash flow from operating activities turned negative at Rs. (160.53) lakhs against a positive Rs. 693.10 lakhs in the prior fiscal, mainly due to build-up of inventories and movement in trade payables.
Strong profit growth on improved margins is a positive signal for shareholders, though a slight dip in revenue and negative operating cash flow may raise concerns about working capital and core cash generation. The stock is thinly traded on the SME platform so liquidity remains limited.
