Jayshree Chemicals' Board, at its 10 November 2025 meeting, approved unaudited financial results for Q2 and H1 FY26 (quarter/half-year ended 30 September 2025) and decided to also maintain books of accounts at its Corporate Office at 31, Chowringhee Road, Kolkata. Revenue from operations declined sharply — Q2 FY26 was about Rs. 229 lakhs versus Rs. 376 lakhs in Q2 FY25 (roughly a 39% drop), while H1 FY26 revenue was about Rs. 511 lakhs versus Rs. 646 lakhs in H1 FY25 (~21% decline). The company posted a loss before tax of Rs. 47.17 lakhs from continuing operations in Q2 FY26 and Rs. 28.21 lakhs loss for H1 FY26. The company completed the slump sale of its Windmill Division to Vaishnav Wind Infra Pvt Ltd for Rs. 276 lakhs on 2 July 2025 and also shut down its Electric Division — both now classified as discontinued operations. An exceptional item of Rs. 12.32 lakhs (H1 FY26) relates to an old expense from the 2015-16 sale of its caustic soda plant to Grasim Industries. Statutory auditor AMK & Associates issued an unmodified limited review report. Notably, other equity stands at a deeply negative Rs. (390.30) lakhs as on 30 September 2025.
Core trading business is shrinking and loss-making at the operating level, but the Windmill divestiture brings in cash and simplifies the business — shareholders should watch whether revenue decline stabilises and whether the negative reserves can be addressed.
